Well… it’s been a bit since I’ve updated this site! Covid has been a distraction with my writing, but I hadn’t realized how much of a distraction it had been for my website as well. I have been terrible about getting it updated, but will once again try to buckle down and get this under control.
I’ve had requests for updates about what’s coming. I figure it’s a great time to give you all some idea of what 2021 will bring!
First, for the rest of 2020:
The Chain Breaker series:
This series is the first of several set in the same world. This series features Gavin Lorren, the Chain Breaker, who’s an assassin trained in multiple fighting styles. When he finds himself in a new city, he faces aspects of his past that reveals more than he’s ever known.
The Risen Shard – Book 1 is out now!
The Jade Egg: Book 2 coming early November.
The Fates of Yoran: Book 3 is coming at the end of December.
There will be more in 2021!
The Dragon Misfits:
Night Dragon comes out in November. This is the final book in the series!
For 2021:
I have several different projects planned for 2021, including more in the world of the Chain Breaker (a couple of different series that readers will love), but I start the year with a series I am very excited to share.
The Executioner’s Song:
A story of a young thief given a choice of dying or becoming an executioner. It leads him to a life and understanding of the magic in the world he could never have imagined. I am really excited about this series and think readers will love it.
The Executioner’s Right: Book 1 coming January.
The Executioner’s Apprentice: Book 2 coming February.
The Dragon Thief:
A series in the world of the Dragon Misfits and The Dragonwalker, but with a great new cast of characters. I LOVE this series (it’s all been written for about a year and waiting to come out!). Book 1 will be here in March.

I am enthralled by your “Dragon Misfits” series, and am looking forward to the final installment. Amazon shows that I can only pre-order the Kindle edition, but I am wondering if there will be a paperback edition. I’d hate to have an incomplete series in what my Mother affectionately calls the Mary Hart Memorial Library (wait…”Memorial”?? – I’m still alive!)
Anyway…I’d sincerely appreciate knowing if there will be a print version.

Love your books brother! I think ive read them all now! Get to work! 😂 i need more covid escapism!! Hahah really tho i appreciate your awesome stories! I wish they went slower and more books, with more mundane daily stuff, the sergeant had to barf bc of spoiled food or one guy always picking his nose, or the girl has a nervous tic whenever she sees a spider, facts that lead nowhere but enhance your characters. Its a tiny thing tho, as i cant seem to put down your books and gobbled them all down over covid lol. Anyway thank you a lot, you are keeping me sane sir!!
Hi! I am genuinely obsessed with your cloud warrior, elemental academy and endless war series. I love listening to them on audible, but sadly not all of them are published yet, will all of them be published on audible at some point?
Furthermore, i really hope there is more for the elemental academy as i love where Tolan Ethar is presently at and i think theres so much potential there! I love how sneaky youve been with links between the three series. For example Amia + Tan = Amitan in elemental academy, and the Tannen council, love that.
Also as a serious Avatar the last air bender fan i love the different direction you took this kind of theme, I would love to see films or a tv show of this!
